Dr. Kurt Philips

Owner and Veterinarian

Butler University, 1992 (BS Degree in Biology)
Purdue University School of Veterinarian Medicine (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine)

Professional and Personal
Dr Phillips has a special interest in canine reproduction and English bulldogs.

He is a married father of two. His family includes two dogs—Rufa, a Viszla, and Faith, a Shih-Tzu—and two cats, Lizzie and Spraguey.

When he is not working with animals and running his business, Dr. Phillips loves to find live music venues and loves to entertain in his home.

Dr. Jennifer Glore

Veterinarian

Professional and Personal
Dr. Glore takes a special interest in cat health and has a special interest in ophthalmology, dermatology and optimal pet health care. She shares her life with her husband, Dr. Brent Gust (also a veterinarian). Her animal friends include an Irish Setter named Ernie; her cat, Penelope; and Moose, a former racetrack thoroughbred.

In her free time, Dr. Glore likes to travel, play golf and ride in the Trader’s Point Hunt Club.

Dr. Michelle Gray

Professional and Personal
Dr. Gray has special interests in client education, preventative care, and ophthalmology. She lives in Carmel with her husband, Trent, who is in residency for anesthesiology.  They share their home with one cat, Nelly, who came to them as a stray.

In her free time, Dr. Gray enjoys reading, outdoor activities, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.

Professional and Personal
Beth has been working with animals since high school. She is married to Michael with whom she has one daughter, Ester. Her family also includes two housecats and a six-foot Prairie King snake.

Other than working, Beth likes to read and follow her favorite band, Collective Soul.

Stephanie is currently enrolled as a vet tech student at Harrison College.

Stephanie has a 10 year old Lhasa Apso named Owen and an 11 year old cat named Cecil. She loves biking, hiking, swimming, and anything outdoors!

Anneliese has a Maine coon/tabby mix named Rhett that she adopted from Harrison College. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her boyfriend and go to movies, go shopping, or just relax at home.

Brittany Jones, RVT

Brittany has had a love for animals her whole life. She was an active
dog show competitor from an early age. Brittany’s college externship
was done at Woodland Animal hospital, and she has experience in
emergency/critical care also. Brittany has 4 dogs, 2 Australian Cattle
dogs, a Brittany, and an adopted “Chi-Weenie.”

In her spare time, Brittany continues to show her own dogs, as well as others.
She enjoys visiting state parks for fishing and walking trails (with the
dogs, of course)!

Megan Moore, RVT

Purdue University, Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology

Professional and Personal
Megan worked in the Emergency and Critical Care department at the Purdue Veterinary Teaching Hospital for 2 years before joining the staff at Woodland Animal Hospital.
She has a Toy Poodle named Macaroni who is the best snuggler. Fun fact about Megan: Horses hold a special place in her heart, and she would love to ride every single day.

Currently enrolled at Ivy Tech, with the intent of pursuing a zoology major

Jordan has a beagle named Henry, adopted from the Madison County Humane Society, and a lion-head rabbit named Sir Galahad.

Kalyn has worked in the veterinary field since high school. She has a son, Zechariah with her boyfriend Russell. They also have two dogs, Gizmo and Bizcuit, and one cat, Mr. Gray. She truly loves working with animals and learning more each day.

Cassie has an associates degree in medical assisting.

She is owned by a Great Dane “Atticus”, a miniature dachshund named “Franklynn”, and a cat named “Eugene”. Cassie says that she enjoys working at Woodland because she gets to snuggle on dogs and cats.

Jordan moved to Indianapolis 3 years ago. She has shares a Saint Bernard/Cocker Spaniel mix named Berkley with her boyfriend, John Paul.

Jordan enjoys watching racing, playing soccer, and going to the dog park.

Kat has three dogs: Cooper, a German Shepherd, Tucker, a Lab mix, and Lady, a toy Poodle. She loves working at WAH because it gives her the opportunity to learn more about our four-legged friends. She says being a Lodge assistant is a blast because she gets to spend the whole day with different dogs.

Lyndsey has been grooming since 2007, and she has been with Woodland Animal Hospital since 2012. She currently holds one grooming certificate and is working on another to refresh and learn new techniques.

Professional and Personal
In her free time, Lindsey enjoys spending her free time with her family and pets. She has 3 cats(Bart, Stewie, and Gracie) and Rocco, a dog, that she has with her boyfriend, Jeffrey. She plays the piano to relax and likes to spend summers at concerts. Lindsey also enjoys Nascar and has finished in the top 4 in her fantasy league for the past two years!

Stephanie Baer

Operations Manager

Stephanie has a diverse background, including managing two residential group homes, managing a medical records department in a psychiatric hospital setting, four years as a juvenile probation officer, administrative assistant to the CEO of a residential treatment hospital, and has worked in two juvenile detention centers. Her love of animals brought her back to Woodland Animal Hospital as the Operations Manager. She shares her home with her husband, cats, dogs, iguana, and hermit crabs.

In her free time she enjoys being at home and spending time with family and friends. Stephanie enjoys music, reading, and enjoys training in the Martial Arts.

Lori has been very involved with the dog community for the past several years. She ran her own business, Dog Duties, LLC ( a pet sitting business), and was named IndyTails 2009 Readers choice Runner up for best dog walker. She also was the founder of the Indy Area Pet Sitter Network.

Lori lives with her mutt Izzy. She enjoys gardening, baking, and BBC television shows.
