We are Open! Offering Curbside Service and Telemedicine at Woodland Animal Hospital

We are OPEN for veterinary care and offering Curbside service to maintain social distance while still offering care for your pets. We offer Telemedicine services to help you decide if a visit is necessary. If your pet has veterinary needs, please call ahead or book a Telemedicine consultation and we will prioritize your pet’s care.

Did you know we have the ability to see a wide range of veterinary care needs including the essential care services below? This is not an all-inclusive list, so please call if you have any questions.

  • Wounds (lacerations/bite wounds)
  • Vomiting/diarrhea
  • Ear infections
  • Skin infections/parasites
  • Lameness/injury
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Respiratory disease
  • Vaccines (vital for illness & disease prevention)
  • Flea, Tick, Heartworm prevention
  • End of life care

We have implemented the following safety protocols in accordance with CDC guidelines:

  • It is essential that anyone displaying symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, or shortness of breath), or who has been exposed to anyone with COVID-19, or who has traveled internationally in the last 14 days to please reschedule your appointment for a later date.
  • If above does not apply, please utilize our curbside service. Call us at (317) 844-2696 when you arrive in the parking lot and we will come to you to get your pet for the exam. For your convenience, we will take information regarding history and concerns over the phone at the time of your arrival. We will continue to communicate via phone or text regarding treatment and/or results.
  • For end of life appointments, we will escort you and your loved one directly into the exam room.
  • Emergencies will be assessed immediately upon arrival. Please call ahead, if at all possible, so we know to expect you. 
  • For Telemedicine services, please download TeleVet hereThis enables our medical staff to assess your pet virtually and there is the ability to share photos and/or video. Let us know if you need help setting up your account.

  • Stacie Haak, DVM
    Associate Veterinarian

    Professional and Personal

    Stacie Haak is an Indiana native, originally from Evansville, IN, but has been in Indianapolis since 2003. Dr. Haak lives with her husband, 3 beautiful daughters, her cat Reese, and English Mastiff, Yogi. In her free time . . . . Dr. Haak's 3 girls keep her very busy at home! She very much enjoys traveling, photography, and spending time with friends and family.

    Dr. Haak is a Fear Free certified professional. She has a special interest in Behavioral Medicine, receiving additional training at the NAVC Institute under Dr. Karen Overall. She is passionate about ensuring that your pet doesn't suffer stress and anxiety in order to receive medical care. The goal she strives for with her clients revolves around the prevention of unwanted behaviors in your puppy, kitten, or rescue pet. Other professional interests are Internal Medicine, client education, and the Human-Animal Bond.

    Professional and Personal:

    Ali has been a part of the Veterinary field since 2002 and joined the Woodland Animal Hospital team in 2015 as part of the hospital's management team.  She has held a variety of roles in hospitals in both Indianapolis and Dallas, TX with a special interest in emergency and critical care. Currently, Ali lives in Westfield with her husband and three kids.

    Registered Veterinary Technician

    Professional and Personal:

    Timi started with us as an Animal Care Specialist three years ago and since has moved her way up to being a star team member in the hospital. She recently passed her Veterinary Technician National Exam and can officially call herself a Registered Veterinary Technician! 

    When she's not providing care to our patients, she can be found hiking with her dogs, doing photography, and spending time with family and friends.

    Kaylan has been working in the animal care field for more than six years. After joining the Woodland team in April of 2019, she soon became a star team member. When she is not working she enjoys spending time at home with her young son, as well as being outdoors.

    Cassie has been a valued team member for nearly seven years, starting as an Animal Care Specialist before moving on to be a devoted Receptionist. Recently she decided to step into the shoes of Lead Receptionist, a position she long deserved! In her time away from work, she enjoys going to festivals, people-watching, and star-gazing.

    Lead Animal Care Specialist

    Professional and Personal:

    Tabitha joined our Lodge team in February of 2018 and has played a key role in its success ever since. In addition to her work in the Lodge, Tabitha can also be found at the front desk as a receptionist, as well as in the hospital as an assistant. 

    Tabitha shares her home with her two daughters, three dogs and three cats.

  • Lyndsey Askren
    Pet Stylist


    Lyndsey has been grooming since 2007 and has been part of the Woodland Animal Hospital family since 2012. She currently holds two grooming certificates and is constantly seeking ways to refine her skills and learn new techniques.

    Professional and Personal:

    When Lyndsey is not making pets look and feel fabulous, she is spending quiet nights at home with her husband, Jeff, and their two young sons, as well as their cat Stewie. She also enjoys playing piano, reading, attending concerts, baking, and spending time with her family.
